After breakfast in the hotel, the entire day will be spent on an excursion of the National Park of Abbruzzo, probably the most suggestive part of the whole region. Departure for Sulmona, the town where Ovid, the poet of love, was born. Taking the road that crosses the beautiful Gole del Sagittario, you get to Scanno, your next stop, where you will also have your lunch in a restaurant. After lunch you will head for beautiful Civitella Afedana, where you will be able to see some specimens of the Appenine Wolf that live freely in a protected area. La Camosciara, one of the most beautifula fauna areas of the Park. A walk along a path takes you to the Cascate delle Ninfe. Pescasseroli, the most important centre of the Park, is seat of the Park Association Museum. Return to hotel for evening meal and accommodation.
