1° Day Torre del Lago Puccini lake – Pisa

Your group arrives in Torre del Lago Puccini late in the morning, where you will visit the villa and tomb of Giacomo Puccini. Next stop Pisa,”the city of the leaning tower”. Lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon a tour of the city: Ponte di Mezzo Borgo Stretto,Church of San Michele in Borgo, Piazza and Il Palazzo dei Cavalieri, Palazzo dell’Orologio, Church of Santo Stefano dei Cavalieri, Piazza del Duomo, Campanile, Battistero, Duomo Museo delle Sinopie, Church of Santa Caterina, Church of San Francesco. Arrival at hotel/farm in the evening, dinner and accommodation.

2° Day San Gimignano – Volterra

After breakfast in the hotel you set off for San Gimignano,” the city of the towers”, where you will visit: Porta San Giovanni, Piazza della Cisterna, Palazzo del Popolo, Museo Civico, San Agostino. Lunch in a restaurant. In the early afternoon departure for Volterra, at the peak of a high hill, towering above the surrounding countryside of the valleys of Era and Cecina. Sharp, rugged summits, desolate erosions and the brilliant white hills, today nothing more than bare outcrops of clay, stand out amidst these kilometres of greenery. The city has a sharp outline, offering an authentic medieval panorama, and all the roofs of the town monuments show off their bent tiles. The famous alabaster can be seen everywhere: along the winding streets “hanging on to” the deep valleys, where all the laboratories that work it are to be found, everything is covered in a thin layer of the white powder. Visit to the city: Piazza and Palazzo dei Priori, Duomo (Dome), Battistero (Baptistry), Pinacoteca (Picture Gallery) and Civic Museum. Return to farm/hotel, evening meal and accommodation.

3° Day Castellina Marittima – Montescudaio

After breakfast in the hotel, departure for a visit of the ancient town of Castellina Marittima, then off to Montescudaio, where a stop at the “Stefano ci mise i golosi” trattoria is an absolute must, granting you a meal that we are certain you will never forget.
