AMALFI COAST

1° Day

Late afternoon arrival of your group in this famous land of mermaids, for your evening meal and accommodation in the hotel.

2° Day Capri

After breakfast in the hotel, departure for an entire day tour of the famous island of Capri. First you will head for the port of Sorrento, where a fast, modern crossing takes you over to Capri. Once there, a touristic tour by private minibus round the island and to Anacapri, with its famous Villa San Michele belonging to the Swedish doctor Axel Munthe who had it turned into a museum with the archaeological remains found on the island.

3° Day Amalfi Coast

Breakfast in the hotel, then departure by hired bus (caution max 10,40 metres = 35 passengers) along the divine coast. Short stop at the Madonnina so you can take some photos of this characteristic town of Positano with its typical, brilliant white little houses built in half Spanish half Arab style. Next stop the famous marine Republic of Amalfi, with a visit to the beautiful Cathedral whose doors made from bronze that came from Costantinopoli were the first of their type in Europe. Not forgetting the Cloister of Paradiso and the relics of Apostle Sant’Andrea. Lunch in a characteristic restaurant on the sea front, then your tour of more breathtaking views continues. Late afternoon return to hotel for evening meal and accommodation.

4° Day Pompei

Breakfast in hotel then departure for a visit to the famous archaeological site of Pompei, the town that was destroyed in 79 AD by the Vesuvio volcano eruption. You will get to a height of 1.000 metres, then have a lavish lunch in a restaurant. Return to hotel for evening meal and accommodation.

5° Day Departure

Departure after breakfast. We are certain you will leave this enchanting part of Italy, and take back beautiful, but nostalgic memories with you. End of services.
