AZURE COAST, the French Riviera

1° Day Sanremo

Arrival at hotel in Sanremo for lunch. The afternoon will be spent on a guided tour of Sanremo, an important , wordly centre, made up of two different parts: Pigna, the medieval heart, and the modern part with its famous casino, the promenade and the elegant internal streets. Next destination your hotel in Costa Azzurra. Evening meal and accommodation.

2° Day Cannes - Saint Tropez

Breakfast in hotel, then you will meet up with your guide and head for Cannes. The walk from Palm Beach to La Croisette Casino is beyond a doubt the most international in the world, with buildings with luxurious façades all around, terraces, cafés and gardens with long rows of palm trees. After lunch you will head for Saint Tropez, jewel of the Costa Azzurra that looks onto a small bay. Return to hotel for evening meal and accommodation.

3° Day Nizza

Breakfast in hotel, then a guided tour of Nice: the old part, the flower market, the city centre that is a shopper’s paradise, the Promenade des Anglais with its parks and gardens. Lunch in a restaurant. The rest of the afternoon will be spent in the Botanic Gardens, a true meeting place with a wide selection of both plants and small animals. Return to hotel for evening meal and accommodation.

4° Day Monaco

Breakfast in hotel, then departure for the Principality of Monaco for a visit to the two famous centres: Monaco, the city that was once seat of the Dynasty of the Grmaldi family, that still has the picturesque appearance of an ancient Ligurian city; Montecarlo, the tourist holiday resort, with its many luxurious villas and hotels, and its elegant buildings. After lunch you will visit the Oceanographic Museum, the first of its kind in Europe, sitting on the Rocca di Monaco. Return to starting place once the visit is over.
