Itinerary
1° Day Pisa
Your group arrives in Pisa, “the city of the leaning tower”, in the morning. Lunch in a restaurant. Tour of the city in the afternoon: Ponte di Mezzo, Borgo Stretto, Church of San Michele in Borgo, Piazza and Palazzo dei Cavalieri, Palazzo dell’Orologio, Church of Santo Stefano dei Cavalieri, Piazza del Duomo, Campanile, Battistero, Duomo, Museo delle Sinopie, Church of Santa Caterina, Church of San Francesco. Destination Montecatini in the evening, accommodation and evening meal in hotel
2° Day Florence
After breakfast in the hotel, destination Florence, the capital of Italian art, where you will see: Piazza Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, Galleria degli Uffizi, Palazzo Vecchio, Campanile di Giotto, Ponte Vecchio. Lunch in a restaurant. Back to the hotel late in the evening for dinner and accommodation.
3° Day Siena
After breakfast in the hotel, departure for Siena, a city with the Chianti woods on one sideand the “crete” (hilly area between Siena and Val di Chiana with clay earth) on the other, and compared to the land once dominated by the city, Siena is in a central position as though resting in the middle of a low hill. The city, famous for its Palio with its districts, is truly fascinating, thanks to its multicoloured flags, its narrow, winding streets, the perfection of its Gothic monuments, the many famous people born there, and its high quality products you can savour anywhere. The very high Torre del Mangia that stands proud over Piazza del Campo can be seen from all around, and it is precisely from this square that you can get to the Dome, San Domenico, Santa Caterina, Piazza Salimbeni, Via di Città, and Porta Romana. Lunch in a restaurant. Return to the hotel late afternoon, then dinner and accommodation.
4° Day Lucca
After breakfast in the hotel, the first stop is Lucca, a dynamic city thanks to its commerce and crafsmanship. Inside the city walls, even today it resembles a city-state that clings to its past. It is on the left hand side of the river Serchio, on a fertile, rainy plain between the Apennine slopes of the Pizzorne Mountains and Monte Pisano, an area rich in olive groves and hills. The tour of the city consists of: Piazza Napoleone, Palazzo della Provincia, Church of San Giovanni and Santa Reparata, Duomo, Piazza San Martino, Museo della Cattedrale, Piazza San Michele, Church of San Michele, Palazzo Mansi, Pinacoteca Nazionale. Lunch in a restaurant.
