1° Day Grado

Afternoon arrival of your group in Grado, with a visit to the old part and a walk along the sea front. Arrival at hotel, evening meal and accommodation.

2° Day Trieste - Castello di Miramare

After breakfast in the hotel departure for Trieste. In the morning a visit to the Castle of Miramare, residence of the Archduke Massimiliano of Asburgo, with a beautiful park full of trees and plants from all over the world, all around. Lunch in a restaurant in Trieste. In the afternoon a visit to the old part of Trieste, starting at the Piazza della Cattedrale, with the Basilica di San Giusto, then on to the Castle and the Roman Theatre. Return to the hotel, evening meal and accommodation.

3° Day Udine – San Daniele - Venzone – Gemona del Friuli

After breakfast in the hotel, departure for Udine, the city of Tiepolo. A visit to the Piazza della Libertà with Loggia del Lionello, l’Arco Bollani, the Duomo and the Oratorio della Purità where Tiepolo’s masterpieces are. Lunch in a restaurant in Udine. Next destination San Daniele del Friuli, with a tour of where the San Daniele raw ham is made, and some tasting. You then go through the area where the 1976 earthquake was, and get to Venzone and Gemona, where you will see the old parts that have been rebuilt. Return to hotel, evening meal and accommodation.

4° Day Aquileia – Palmanova

After breakfast in the hotel, departure for Aquileia, with a tour of the Gothic-Roman basilica, the forum and the excavations. Departure for Palmanova, a visit to the old part and a walk through the fortifications. Lunch in a restaurant.
