Itinerary
1° Day Verona
Your group arrives in Verona, rich in ancient monuments and famous for the love story between Romeo and Juliet, in the early afternoon. A visit to the Arena, the Roman Amphitheatre, the Church of San Zeno and Sant’Anastasia. Departure for a tourist resort along Lake Garda, arrival at hotel, evening meal and accommodation.
2° Day Lake Garda
After breakfast in the hotel, departure for Sirmione and Desenzano sul Garda, a hillside town built round the remains of an ancient castle. Next stop Salò, in a deep inlet with an elegant city centre where the Duomo of Santa Maria Annunziata, Palazzo della Magnifica Patria, Palazzo del Capitano and Rettore Veneto are. You then head for Riva del Garda, that looks on to the lake from a narrow layer on the northern part, its oldest part that still has some Venetian traces, spread out towards the Sarca and full of villas, long roads, parks, even today maintains a very important strategic position, surrounded by unique countryside and nature, and together with its mild climate, make it a perfect place for a holiday. To be seen: Piazza IV Novembre, the Rocca, Museo Civico. Lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon you head for Malcesine: a maze of narrow streets crosses the old part of the town at the foot of the Scaligero Castle and the Museum. Garda: the lake probably takes its name from the German word “Warte” (fortress). It is a very popular tourist resort full of villas and rows of black cypresses. The lake front is very relaxing. Return to the hotel via Peschiera del Garda, evening meal and accommodation.
3° Day Gardaland
After breakfast in the hotel, departure for Gardaland, the fun city,where you will spend the entire day and have lunch in a restaurant.
